[TUTORIAL] Silver Smokey Eye-- Makeup For Glasses!

Hello Everyone!

For the longest time I have been wanting to do a tutorial, so for today that is exactly what I will be showing you all. Since I wear glasses its sometimes difficult to wear eye makeup and have it be VISIBLE! The makeup I am going to be doing is one of my signature eye looks, I love wearing this look because it really opens up my eyes. Its a very silvery smokey eye with a lot of matte black in the crease so if you don't wear glasses I would suggest to skip the heavy liner, unless you like that look.

First as always you want to prime your eyelid, if you don't have a primer dab a bit of your foundation on your lid and apply pressed powder over it. I used Essence You Rock eyeshadow base.
Apply a white eyeliner in the inner corner and blend it.

Take a shimmery white shadow and apply it on top of the white eyeliner and the browbone.

Taking a black eyeliner, apply it in the outer corner of the eye. Creating a cat eye, you can be messy with this since we are going to smudge it out.

Taking a pencil brush, smudge out the eyeliner.

Take a silver eyeliner and apply this all over the lid and lower lash line, this will really make the eyeshadow be vibrant. I used a Silver eyeshadow stick from Davis

Taking a matte grey eyeshadow on a flat shader brush, you can also use a shimmery grey but since my base was shimmery I opted for using a matte grey. I used a matte grey from an Avon Palette

Take a blending brush and apply a matte black eyeshadow on the outer corner creating a V shape. Take an angled liner brush and apply the same matte black on the outer corner as well as in the lash line. If the black isn't dark enough you can apply more eyeliner in the crease. I used Rimmel's Jet Black eyeshadow

Taking the eyeliner and line your waterline and tightline.

Curl your lashes and apply mascara and your favorite liquid eyeliner. I used Elf's essential mascara and waterproof eyeliner. Make sure to clean off any fallout and apply concealer.

Put your glasses on and you are done!

I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial and found it helpful! Feel free to leave any comments or suggestions. If you want to see more tutorials let me know!
